Effective May 20, 2023 (Justice Knights – Hero)
Our league ranks always were about who does what in the league, not about anyone having power over someone else. We are reorganizing the league ranks to make participation more accessible and to make it a little easier to follow that concept. Each rank has special permissions in-game, on the website, and discord channels. These permissions may change over time.
Here is how our ranks will be, some of it is new, some familiar:
League Rank 1 (In-Game Rank 1) : SQUIRE
This is the introductory rank into the league. At this rank, you were invited directly into the league UNREGISTERED by a Justice Knight. You can only be promoted to the next rank after 30 days as a squire AND after you registered on discord.
You are not allowed to have any alts in the league. Inactivity while in this rank may result in the removal from the league, although special circumstances are allowed if you give notice to an officer.

League Rank 2 (In-Game Rank 5) : JK – Knight
This is a full member of the league. From here on you may have as many alts as you can play. Ability to invite others into the league as long as the name requirements are met**. See below for more information on invites. When a member in this rank become inactive, they can remain in the league but will eventually moved to in-game rank called “MIA” (MIA rank 2 Explained below)

INVITE RULES**: Name requirements must be met before anyone is invited to the Justice Knights. There will be regular checks on the league roster. Any names that are violations to the name requirement may be removed without notice. On rare instances, a time extension or delay of removal if the new recruit needs more time to purchase a name change token. As a general rule, if you are not sure a potential recruit’s name is questionable, direct them to the application on discord so that officers can vote or send a message on discord for immediate review/vote by officers.
OFFICER RANKS
League Rank 3 (In-Game Rank 6) : Honor Knight
This rank is for the truly trusted. Each member of this rank has earned the trust of the league. They have a good understanding of who we are as a league. They have access to the in game MOTD. Ability to host and organized official league events with full support. Able to view and comment incoming applications and Squire 30 day review.
This is an active rank. 3 months prolonged inactivity in this rank may be moved to MIA status.

Additional Discord Channels including LeaderChat, Applications Review
League Rank 5 (In-Game Rank 7) : Elite
Members of this rank are more than just a member. They have repeatedly answered the call to help the league by any means including forming groups and/or events. They are able to VOTE on incoming applications and Squire 30 day review. Because of the ability to vote, alts in other competing active leagues are not strongly discouraged; However, there may be certain circumstances where this is allowed. Ability to post content on the Justice Knights website.
This is an active Rank. 3 months prolonged inactivity in this rank may be moved to Honor Knight.

Hall decoration
Contribute to the discussion of Honor Knight to Elite Knight promotions.
Access to post content on JK Website (blog)
League Rank 6 (In-Game Rank 8 ) : Council
Considered to be part of the League Leadership. Proficient in various areas that help the league. They take part in open or closed discussions on various issues and events. If a situation arises that could be considered a violation to league rules or league cohesiveness, this rank has the task to determine if a violation to league rules or league cohesiveness did occur and report findings to Battlemaster & Commander for any needed ruling or correction.
This is an active Rank. 3 months prolonged inactivity in this rank is automatically moved to Elite Knight.
All previous access, but also includes:
Spend Prestige points to keep League Proficiencies active
Previous Discord Channels + Council Chat
Assists in the action of approved promotions of all other ranks below Council.
League Rank 7 (In-Game Rank 9) : Battlemaster
This is the deputy to the league leader, tasked to do anything to keep the league going. All other duties from previous ranks.
This is an active rank. Rank until resigns. Prolonged inactivity in this rank is automatically moved to Council rank.
All previous access, but also includes:
-Withdrawal from League Bank 3 and 4 to be used to award prizes in competitions/events.
-Able to remove a member
League Rank 8 (In-Game Rank 10) : Commander
This is the league leader, tasked to do everything that is necessary to keep the league going.
Active Rank. Rank until resigns.

Miscellaneous In-game Only League Ranks for Administrative Purposes explained:
MIA. This rank signifies those who have been inactive in the league for sometime. We try to hold a spot for them as long as the league member cap allows. If they return after being on MIA status in game, they will be promoted back to Rank: Knight. If we need space in the league roster to invite new recruits, we would remove members from this rank first based on the earliest login. If this happens, they can message on discord to be re-invited to the league.
Legends. This rank signifies those who have been inactive in the league for sometime but made extra contributions during their tenure. These members are This is the Justice Knights Hall of Fame. They are exempt from naming rules if their name is augmented due to Name Reclaim events.
Knight Alt. We are unable to carry ranks over to alts. This rank signifies this is an alt and your main has the correct rank and permissions. All Knight Alts have the same permissions as Rank: Knight.
